Frequently Asked Questions
How long does custom drapery take?
Most custom drapery projects are completed within 3-4 weeks from fabric selection to professional installation. This includes fabrication, hardware preparation, and scheduling. Rush orders are available for an additional fee.
Can I get motorized drapery tracks?
Yes! We offer motorized drapery tracks that integrate with smart home systems like Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit. Motorized tracks are perfect for large or hard-to-reach windows, and can be controlled by remote, app, or voice commands.
What's the difference between drapes and curtains?
Drapes are custom-made, lined window treatments that hang from hooks or rings on a traverse rod. Curtains are typically lighter, unlined panels on a decorative rod. Custom drapery offers superior light control, insulation, and a more tailored, elegant appearance.
How do I choose the right fabric?
During your free in-home consultation, we bring fabric samples so you can see how they look in your actual space and lighting. We'll help you consider factors like light control, privacy, durability, and style. With over 500 designer fabrics available, we'll find the perfect match.
Do you offer drapery for sliding glass doors?
Absolutely! We offer several options for sliding doors including ripplefold panels on ceiling-mounted tracks, pinch pleat drapes on traverse rods, and motorized solutions. These treatments provide full coverage while allowing easy access to your door.
